日本語
日本語の無料メール、日本語で書かれたアドレス。本物の、実際に届くアドレスであり、単なる翻訳されたインターフェースではありません。
Free email in Japanese, written in the Kanji / Kana script. Written using a mix of Kanji characters and the Hiragana and Katakana syllabaries.
翻訳されたアプリではなく、本物のアドレス
ほとんどのメールアプリは、メニューやボタンを翻訳するだけです。DataMailはさらに踏み込みます:アドレス自体を日本語で書くことができます。これはEmail Address Internationalization(EAI)によって可能になっています。これは、メールアドレスが単純なASCIIを超えた文字体系を使用できるようにする技術標準です。サポート@データメール.コムのようなアドレスは、隠されたラテン文字アドレスの上に表示されるトリックではなく、本物の、実際に届くアドレスです。
Why Kanji / Kana needs its own address
Japanese is written with three scripts at once: kanji for most word stems, hiragana for grammar and native words, and katakana for loanwords and emphasis. A single address can mix all three, which is normal in Japanese text and impossible in ASCII. Japanese-script domain names under .jp have been registrable since 2001, so users are used to typing their language into an address bar through an input method editor. DataMail stores the mixed-script address as Unicode and delivers it that way, so a name written in kanji arrives as kanji rather than as a romanised guess at its pronunciation.
Who uses it: Japanese speakers and businesses that already use Japanese-script .jp domains and want email to match.
A real address, not a translated app
Most email apps just translate their own menus and buttons. DataMail goes further: the address itself, the part before and after the @, can be written in Kanji / Kana. That's possible because of Email Address Internationalization (EAI), a technical standard that lets an email address use scripts beyond plain ASCII. An address like サポート@データメール.コム isn't a display trick over a hidden Latin-script address; it's the real, deliverable address, the same way name@example.com is.

How to create a free Japanese email address.
- Install the DataMail app. App Store or Google Play. IDs are created in the app, not on this website. About a minute.
- Choose Japanese (日本語). Pick it as your address language and type your name in Kanji / Kana using your phone's Japanese keyboard.
- Verify your mobile number. A one-time code by SMS confirms the account.
- Sign in anywhere. The app, or any browser at mail.datamail.in, with the same ID.
Gmail and Outlook.com deliver to Kanji / Kana addresses, but fewer than 10% of mail servers worldwide accept non-Latin addresses yet, so mail to some older corporate systems can bounce. That ratio is what DataMail's founder works on at ICANN. Read how native-script addressing works and how DataMail compares with Gmail.
