Grievance and Abuse Reporting Policy

privacy@datamail.inDataMail is an email service operated by Data Xgen Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Data Xgen," "we," "our" or "us"). This page explains how users, recipients, rights holders, government authorities and other affected persons can report abuse or raise a grievance concerning DataMail, including its free and optional paid services.
This Policy should be read together with the DataMail Terms of Service and DataMail Privacy Policy.
1. What You Can Report
You may contact us regarding:
- spam or unsolicited bulk email;
- phishing, spoofing or impersonation;
- malware, ransomware or malicious links or attachments;
- fraud, scams or identity theft;
- unauthorized access or suspected account compromise;
- harassment, threats or other abusive use of DataMail;
- unlawful content or activity;
- intellectual property or copyright concerns;
- privacy or personal-data concerns;
- security vulnerabilities or incidents;
- misuse of DataMail infrastructure;
- account, subscription or Paid Service issues; or
- any other violation of the DataMail Terms of Service or applicable law.
2. Abuse Reporting
For suspected spam, phishing, malware, fraud, account abuse or other misuse, email abuse@datamail.in.
Please provide sufficient information for us to investigate, such as the relevant DataMail address, message details, dates and times, headers or other evidence where available.
3. Privacy and Data Protection Requests
For privacy-related questions, personal-data requests or privacy complaints, email privacy@datamail.in. Requests may be subject to reasonable identity or account verification.
4. General Support and Paid Services
For account, subscription, payment, billing, cancellation or Paid Service support, email support@datamail.in.

The Grievance Officer will handle grievances in accordance with applicable law and the procedures applicable to DataMail.
6. Complaint Handling
We will review complaints and reports in accordance with their nature, available information, applicable law and our internal procedures. Where appropriate, we may request additional information from the complainant or affected user.
Depending on the circumstances, Data Xgen may:
- investigate the reported activity;
- take technical or administrative measures;
- restrict, suspend or terminate an account or Paid Service;
- block or quarantine abusive messages or activity;
- preserve relevant information where legally permitted or required;
- notify or cooperate with competent authorities;
- request corrective action;
- correct a verified billing or service issue; or
- determine that no action is appropriate where a report is unsupported, outside our responsibility or inconsistent with applicable law.
We do not guarantee that every report will result in removal, suspension, refund, account restoration or other action.
7. Emergency and Security Matters
Where an issue presents an immediate or serious threat to users, systems, security or public safety, Data Xgen may take urgent protective measures without prior notice, subject to applicable law.
8. Law Enforcement and Government Requests
Data Xgen may respond to valid legal processes, court orders and lawful requests from competent government or law-enforcement authorities in accordance with applicable law.
9. False or Abusive Reports
Reports should be made in good faith and contain accurate information. Knowingly submitting false, fraudulent, malicious or abusive reports may itself constitute misuse of the Service and may result in action under the DataMail Terms of Service.
10. Protection of Report Information
Information submitted in a complaint or abuse report may be processed for investigation, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, service protection and communication with the reporting party, subject to the DataMail Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Changes to this Policy
Data Xgen may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will be published on the DataMail website with its effective date.
