Why Sinhala needs its own address
Sinhala is the language of the majority of Sri Lanka and one of the country's two official languages alongside Tamil. Its script is among the rounder South Asian scripts and one of the larger ones: the full 'mixed' alphabet used for Sanskrit and Pali loanwords runs to more than fifty letters. Sri Lanka's internationalised country-code domain .ලංකා was delegated in 2010, so Sinhala web addresses already exist; a Sinhala email address on DataMail extends the same idea to the mailbox. Sinhala vowel signs attach to consonants on all four sides, and DataMail stores every combination as Unicode rather than a Latin approximation.

How to create a free Sinhala email address.
