русский
Бесплатная почта на русском языке, написанная кириллицей. Настоящий, доставляемый адрес, а не просто переведённый интерфейс.
Free email in Russian, written in the Cyrillic script. One of the world's major international languages, extending DataMail beyond Indian scripts.
Why Cyrillic needs its own address
Russian was the first non-Indian script DataMail supported, and Cyrillic is a natural fit: Russia's .рф domain, launched in 2010, was the world's first widely adopted internationalised country-code domain, and hundreds of thousands of Cyrillic domain names have been registered under it. Cyrillic has 33 letters in modern Russian, several of which have no Latin equivalent, so transliteration schemes disagree with one another. A Cyrillic address on DataMail avoids that entirely: the address is stored and delivered in Cyrillic. Russian is official in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and widely used across Central Asia and the Baltic states.
Who uses it: Russian-speaking users in Russia and Central Asia who already use Cyrillic web addresses and want their email to match.
A real address, not a translated app
Most email apps just translate their own menus and buttons. DataMail goes further: the address itself, the part before and after the @, can be written in Cyrillic. That's possible because of Email Address Internationalization (EAI), a technical standard that lets an email address use scripts beyond plain ASCII. An address like поддержка@почта.рус isn't a display trick over a hidden Latin-script address; it's the real, deliverable address, the same way name@example.com is.

How to create a free Russian email address.
- Install the DataMail app. App Store or Google Play. IDs are created in the app, not on this website. About a minute.
- Choose Russian (русский). Pick it as your address language and type your name in Cyrillic using your phone's Russian keyboard.
- Verify your mobile number. A one-time code by SMS confirms the account.
- Sign in anywhere. The app, or any browser at mail.datamail.in, with the same ID.
Gmail and Outlook.com deliver to Cyrillic addresses, but fewer than 10% of mail servers worldwide accept non-Latin addresses yet, so mail to some older corporate systems can bounce. That ratio is what DataMail's founder works on at ICANN. Read how native-script addressing works and how DataMail compares with Gmail.
